With ten years in the field, I utilize both empathy and humor to create a comfortable space for my clients. I support my clients by encouraging them to find their voice in order for them to meet their own therapeutic goals and to create a fulfilling life. My therapeutic style includes open and honest communication that provides transparency between my client and myself. As a therapist, I encourage my clients to see that they are resilient beings who can adapt to the changes life may bring. This promotes inner-fortitude while also enabling clients to discover their own sense of self. I enjoy using various creative techniques such as writing to encourage self-reflection for my clients. I also enjoy incorporating mindfulness practices, meditation, and spiritual components for individuals that are interested in these resources. I work with adolescents and adults struggling with a wide range of concerns including: Anxiety, Depression, Gender and Identity (LGBTQ), Self-Esteem, PTSD, Substance Abuse, and Co-Occuring Disorders.
In my spare time, I enjoy exercise, practicing meditation, and writing. I am always open to discuss music and literature and have a wide and eclectic taste in music. I love everything from show tunes to 90’s R&B!
